Microsoft SQL Developer/Application Development Consultant

 Job Description:

We are currently seeking a Microsoft SQL Developer for application software implementations, reporting and business intelligence, application development, and data conversions for client projects. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Microsoft SQL Server development, Reporting using SSRS, and .NET development experience.  Familiarity with Business Applications/ERP systems is a plus. Candidates must possess the ability to write stored procedures, T-SQL and Triggers and the ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment and to take a proactive and aggressive approach to meeting deadlines and daily objectives.  The candidate must be able to communicate with clients and end-users regularly.

 Skills Required:

• Minimum of 2 years experience with the required technologies (4+ years preferred)
• Microsoft SQL Server
• T-SQL, Stored Procedures and Triggers

• Experience developing reports with SSRS
• .NET development experience

• SQL Server 2005/2008 Administration experience
• Strong experience with Business applications including requirements gathering, system design, development, deployment and support.
• Ability to do Project scoping & estimating
• Design and develop data conversion strategies and programs
• Knowledge of Business Intelligence & Analytic Tools
• Excellent written & verbal communication skills

 

Additional Skills considered:

·        Knowledge of SharePoint

·        Experience with the following technologies and tools: Windows Server, ASP.NET, IIS, HTML, Visual Studio, C#, VB .Net, XML

·        Experience developing Web-based business applications on the Microsoft platform

·        Microsoft Certifications a plus
